Wow! I just took my son to see Metallica in Sydney! WOW - what a show and hands down the BEST Concert I have been to so far.

Its always such an incredible feeling going to a Concert. This was to be my son's first ever concert and what a way to kick things off with Metallica - it goes without saying that I was so excited to be sharing this with him.

The crowds were electric, I heard there were 70000 people attend. We were down in the thick of it - General Admission Standing, a red wrist band which meant we were back from the snake pit and in with the masses. We were actually lucky to get tickets as the whole of Australia had sold out by the time we decided we could go. I got onto Tixel and joined a waitlist for people selling - I'd never done it before but signed up for an automatic sale putting in a maximum amount I wanted to pay for tickets and within 10 minutes I had a message saying we had Metallica tickets! Amazing! I have loved and listened to this band my whole life and now I was taking my son who also loves them to see them!This is how it works right here - Alchemy - creating the life you want. BOOM!!!

Arriving early to see the lead up bands we nabbed a spot beside the stanchions which later we sat on and had a decent view of the stage.

It was absolute world class entertainment - Metallica you guys truly ROCK !!! The LED screens shooting close ups of fingers on guitars, facial expressions, smiles and sweat, fire, lasers, balls and the brilliance of professional heavy metal rock performers - dreams coming true, singing songs that have shaped me, Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, One, The Unforgiven, sharing this once in my lifetime event with my favourite human.

Loved the Hilton on George, Excellent Location - close to the Galeries Up market shopping mall with cozy coffee hubs and delicious pastries. A short walk from Westfield (3 Minutes) Close to trains, and all inner city attractions - Opera House, Ferries & Views of the Bridge.

Room was classically Hilton simple and beds were very comfortable.
